India Tour Of Ireland 2023 Schedule | IRE vs IND T20I series 2023

The three-match T20I series against India in August has a schedule that was issued by Cricket Ireland on Wednesday, 28 June. The series will start once India’s multi-format tour of the West Indies, which is slated to take place from 12 July to 13 August, is through.

Ireland recently withdrew from the Zimbabwe-hosted ICC ODI World Cup Qualifier 2023 and will now prioritize T20 matches. Beginning on August 18, three games will be held at the site in Malahide, Dublin. Ireland will host India for the second time in a year, and Cricket Ireland CEO Warren Deutram promises that the supporters will have a memorable time.

In a statement, Warren Deutram said, “We are delighted to welcome the Indian men’s team to Ireland for the second time in 12 months.” “This time’s three-match makeup should give more fans the opportunity to enjoy an occasion to always remember. We saw two sold-out matches in 2022.”

Earlier reports suggested that India would skip the series as they are busy with the upcoming schedule of Asia Cup 2023 and ICC ODI World Cup 2023 and avoid overloading of players. Deutram thanked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for including the Ireland series in their schedule and promising them a fan-friendly experience.

“My sincere thanks to the BCCI, firstly, for accommodating Ireland in the Indian team’s busy schedule and then for co-operating with us to make a fan-friendly plan possible. Having the matches on a Friday and Sunday will hopefully maximize fan availability.”
