Bank of Baroda had initiated the auction of actor Sunny Deol’s Mumbai villa to recover a debt of around 56 crore rupees. The notification has already been withdrawn by the bank, though.

In the posh area of Juhu in western Mumbai, actor Sunny Deol’s villa, which was previously put up for auction by Bank of Baroda to recover a loan granted to the actor, was being auctioned. The loan amount was reported to be around 56 crore rupees. The bank was also attempting to recover the interest accrued on the loan. Bank of Baroda has since withdrawn the e-auction notice for Sunny Deol’s Juhu house, claiming “technical reasons.”On Monday, August 21, another notice was issued stating that due to technical issues, the sale notice has been withdrawn.

Bank Withdraws Auction Notice For Sunny DEol’ Villa

A notice was issued by the Bank of Baroda in a national newspaper on Sunday, August 20th, regarding an auction. They have now released a clarification letter. In it, it is written, “Mr. Ajay Singh Deol aka Mr. Sunny Deol, in relation to the sale notice of auction in connection with Shri Amitabh Bachchan’s property, the correction letter of the auction notice published in the Mumbai edition of The Times of India (Page 3) dated 20.08.2023, clarifying the auction notice dated 19.08.2023″ The property mentioned below was taken back due to technical reasons: A piece and parcel of the land located in Survey No. 41, Part No. 5 (PT) CTS No. 173, Gram Juhu, Taluka Andheri, Mumbai suburban district, comprising 599.44 square meters, under a known structure. Located at Sunny Villa, Gandhi Gram Road, Juhu, Mumbai 400049. In Mumbai suburban registration district and sub-district, under the New Municipal Assessment No. 00121047.”

“While Sunny Deol’s team confirmed the auction notice on Sunday, he stated that the mentioned amount was incorrect and also mentioned that the actor would settle the outstanding amount within one or two days.”

In the initial notice, the real name of the star of ‘Gadar 2’, Ajay Singh Deol, has been mentioned. The fact is that the name of his Juhu villa is Sunny Villa, and other loan details have been mentioned. The brother of Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, whose real name is Vijay Singh Deol, and their father Dharmendra Singh Deol, named Sunny Deol’s company “Sunny Sounds Private Limited” as a guarantor and corporate guarantor for that loan, which they had taken from Bank of Baroda.

The name of this villa is Sunny Villa, and it is located on Gandhi Gram Road in Juhu. The idea of auctioning the surrounding land to recover the outstanding dues was mentioned. This land is 599.44 square meters and is situated on a piece of land from Survey No. 41, Part No. 5 (PT) of CTS No. 173 in the village of Juhu, Andheri in the Mumbai suburban district.

Sunny Deol’s representative responded to this matter, saying, “We are in the process of resolving this issue, and the matter will be resolved. We request that no further speculations be made on this.”
